    ECCMID 2019 in Amsterdam was an outstanding success setting new records, with nearly 14,000 delegates from 130 countries, ~5,500 submitted abstracts and a notable 50/50 balance between female and male speakers. Preparations for ECCMID 2020 in Paris are already underway!

    The first paper coming out of The Global Sewage Surveillance project has been recently published in Nature Communications https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6408512/pdf/41467_2019_Article_8853.pdf

    The MAGICAL Group is a collaborator of this project, which analysed sewage in 60 countries (including Israel) for AMR using metagenomics.
